Once a year, the School of American Ballet and New York City Ballet join forces for a delightful holiday fête — the Nutcracker Family Benefit. Following the December 10 matinee performance of George Balanchine's The Nutcracker®, join the cast of the performance for a holiday party on the Promenade that you and your little ones will never forget. All proceeds from the event benefit NYCB's education and outreach programs and SAB's scholarship fund.

Staging The Sleeping Beauty

Ballet Master in Chief Peter Martins’ elaborate yet streamlined version of The Sleeping Beauty returns to the stage this winter. Join us for a never-before-seen look at what it takes to recreate this immense production featuring over one hundred dancers. You’ll see excerpts from the ballet before it opens to the public, and hear from the dancers and artistic staff who bring this enchanting masterpiece to life.

This program will take place on Monday, January 30 at 6:30 PM at the David H. Koch Theater.
