Fearful Symmetries is an ever-changing cascade of dancers costumed in vibrant tones of red with a racing score by celebrated American composer John Adams.

Fearful Symmetries is the second work Peter Martins choreographed to the music of John Adams, the first being The Chairman Dances, created for the American Music Festival in 1988. A large, complex ballet bathed in dramatic and ever-changing hues of red and blue created by Mark Stanley, it matches the music’s racing pulse in striking combination.
