Set to a score by Philip Glass, Peck's first work for the Company received its NYC premiere in Spring 2013, following its world premiere during the Company's 2012 engagement at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.
In Creases is the first work Justin Peck, a soloist with New York City Ballet, created for the Company. The ballet is set to Philip Glass’ "Four Movements for Two Pianos", and received its world premiere in July 2012 during NYCB’s annual summer residency at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in upstate New York. During NYCB’s 2012-13 season Peck created two additional works, Year of the Rabbit, to music by Sufjan Stevens, and Paz de la Jolla, to music by Bohuslav Martinů.
