Frequently Asked Questions

How many people can you have in one studio?
The maximum studio capacity is 80. We also have a floor maximum capacity of 150.

Do you have chairs and/or risers we can use in the studios?
Yes. However, chairs/risers do not come with your rental agreement and must be rented through Lincoln Center. If you are a Lincoln Center constituent, you will be billed directly by Lincoln Center. If you are not a Lincoln Center constituent, you will receive a bill from NYCB.

We just need a few chairs and tables. Are there any extra chairs and tables in the studios we could use?
Yes. We have a few extra chairs and tables in the closet space next to the studios. You may ask our 8th floor lobby staff to open up the closet in order to access these chairs and tables.

Are food and drinks permitted in the studios?
No.

Do the studio walls have barres?
There are barres on three walls. The wall with mirror does not have barres, but there are portable barres in the space.

Yes. There is a thermostat in each studio.

Do the studios have wifi?
No.

Is there any media equipment in the studios?

Is there a loading dock?

I’m bringing in my own equipment. Are there any space / electricity restrictions?
The studios only support standard electricity usage. If you have equipment that requires extra power, you need to make arrangements with Lincoln Center at an additional fee. Please contact NYCB (RoseStudio@nycballet.com) to make these arrangements.
