Featuring scores by five composers, this program starts with three short works by Peter Martins — the supremely elegant Sophisticated Lady, the slinky The Infernal Machine, and the athletic pas de deux Purple — followed by the accelerated contemporary choreography of Martins’ Hallelujah Junction. Closing the performance is Jerome Robbins’ audience favorite West Side Story Suite, a dance distillation of the Broadway show that even has the dancers singing.
