This all-American program features three conemporary pieces: Dove’s vibrant Red Angels, Tanner’s five-part pas de deux Sonatas and Interludes, and Peck’s first NYCB ballet, In Creases, set to a Philip Glass score. Martins’ Ray Charles tribute, A Fool for You adds a playful note to the evening.

    A dynamically charged, abstract work, Red Angels highlights the power and athleticism of its four dancers through bold choreography, intense lighting, and a riveting score for electric violin.

    Peck’s first work for the Company, to a score by Philip Glass, receives its NYC premiere in Spring 2013, following its world premiere during the Company’s 2012 engagement at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

    A tribute to American music legend Ray Charles, A Fool for You features a cast of dancers performing to 12 songs in playful, sometimes sassy, choreography reminiscent of popular American 50s and 60s dances.
