  • Les Bosquets (New Woodkid/JR)

    • Music by: Woodkid
    • Choreography by: JR

NYCB brings 2014 Art Series collaborator JR on stage in the spring for a piece d'occasion conceived by the prize-winning artist, featuring original music by Woodkid and special guest Lil Buck in his Lincoln Center debut.

  • Sonatas and Interludes

    • Music by: John Cage
    • Choreography by: Richard Tanner

Working their way through five piano pieces by John Cage, two dancers unfold through the fluid yet crisp movements of this quirky pas de deux.

  • Vespro

    • Music by: Bruno Moretti
    • Choreography by: Mauro Bigonzetti

Bigonzetti’s Vespro (Italian for vespers) and its cadre of ultramodern congregants draw you into a dark yet sophisticated world with geometric costumes and intricate choreography for 13 dancers.

  • Two Hearts

    • Music by: Nico Muhly
    • Choreography by: Benjamin Millepied

With geometric black and white costumes by Rodarte, Two Hearts is a constantly shifting profusion of steps and shapes that ends with a soulful pas de deux to a bittersweet ballad.

  • Acheron (New Poulenc/Scarlett)

    • Music by: Francis Poulenc
    • Choreography by: Liam Scarlett

Set to an arresting Poulenc organ concerto, Liam Scarlett's first work for NYCB oscillates between touching pas de deux and sweeping ensemble sections — a piece that is at turns sensual and somber.
