Refractions

Choreography by: Alexandre Proia

Music by: Kamran Ince

"In a way, the ballet concerns light and shadow — not literally, but in the sense that light and shadow can refer to aspects of temperament. I'd also like the dancers' movements at times to suggest light bouncing from a mirror to a wall. It's a 20-minute work for 20 dancers and I choreographed it in 20 days."— Alexandre Proia
