Shoshana Rosenfield is a member of New York City Ballet’s corps de ballet. She was born in New York City, and began her dance training at the age of four at Ballet Academy East. She enrolled as a full time student at the School of American Ballet, the official school of New York City Ballet, in September 2004.

While at SAB she performed with NYCB in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker (Candy Cane) and Jerome Robbins’ Fanfare. She also performed George Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco with SAB as part of the Protégés II program at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. in June 2008.

Ms. Rosenfield also attended various summer programs including those at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, the San Francisco Ballet, and Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell.

Ms. Rosenfield became an apprentice with NYCB in September 2009 and joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet in August 2010.
