Mr. Dieck was born in Mount Kisco, New York, and enrolled at the School of American Ballet, the official school of New York City Ballet, in 1998. As a student at SAB, Dieck performed in New York City Ballet’s production of Les Gentilhommes. He became an apprentice with NYCB in October 2007, and joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet in 2008.
