STEPHANIE BAST

Stephanie’s first professional job in New York was with the NYC Ballet in 1995.  She is honored to still be singing with this amazing company. She was last seen at Carnegie Hall in SOUTH PACIFIC with Reba McIntyre and Brian Stokes Mitchell. She has been in numerous Broadway productions including the revival of Nine with Antonio Banderas and Chita Rivera where she understudied the role of Claudia. Other B'way shows include The Scarlet Pimpernel, Alan Menken and Tim Rice’s King David, Miss Saigonand A Christmas Carolwith Ben Vereen at Madison Square Garden.  She understudied and played the role of Belle in the Nat'l Tour of Beauty & the Beast, barked her way through Sylvia at the Emelin, and kept up the animal theme as Mother in The Gorilla Man at PS122. She can be heard on the Original Cast Recordings ofNine (Revival), The Scarlet Pimperneland King David.  She and her husband, David Grillo, produced the Off-Broadway production of BEAST ON THE MOON at The Century Center for the Performing Arts in 2005.  TV and Film: Law & Order, Law & Order: CI, Numb3rs, The Jury and Half Nelson with Ryan Gosling.  When she’s not performing, she is painting:  www.colorwheelmaniac.blogspot.com.  Stephanie loves and thanks her parents, her husband and her life as an artist.
