Paul Gibson, a Principal Dancer with Pacific Northwest Ballet, was previously a soloist with the San Francisco Ballet. He is originally from Altoona, Pennsylvania, and attended the School of American Ballet. He has danced works by Mark Morris, Kevin O'Day, Lynne Taylor-Corbett, William Forsythe, Kent Stowell, Helgi Tomasson, Peter Martins, Paul Taylor, James Kudelka, Jiri Kylian, Agnes de Mille, and Jerome Robbins. Mr. Gibson has choreographed ballets for PNB, the San Francisco Ballet School, the San Francisco Ballet Choreographic Workshop, and Allegheny Ballet Company. In 2004 he was named Assistant Ballet Master for Pacific Northwest Ballet. The Piano Dance, created for PNB was premiered in April 2005.
