From Western Symphony to Stars and Stripes, our panelists will explore George Balanchine’s fondness for traditional and popular American music. They will also examine the influence of American themes and music in the choreography of Jerome Robbins and Peter Martins. Panelists will be writer/critic/choreographer Deborah Jowitt, ballet master Glenn Keenan, pianist Alan Moverman, and soloist Georgina Pazcoguin. Moderator: Joan Quatrano
