Featuring a variety of styles, Wheeldon’s Les Carillons is a romantic yet contemporary work and Robbins’ Moves, a dancer favorite, is performed completely in silence. The quirky and stylized choreography for Balanchine’s Stravinsky Violin Concerto is the perfect compliment to Stravinsky’s bold and breathtaking melodies.

Set to Bizet’s vibrant L’Arlésienne Suites No. 1 and 2, Wheeldon weaves 20 dancers through a series of dances ranging from serene to stately in their emotional color.
Moves
- Choreography by: Jerome Robbins
Forgoing scenery, elaborate costumes, and even musical accompaniment, this ballet in silence enthralls with the unexpected intensity it evokes through movement alone.
Stravinsky Violin Concerto
- Music by: Igor Stravinsky
- Choreography by: George Balanchine

A carefully-woven masterpiece of geometry and ingenuity, Stravinsky Violin Concerto is a work of symmetry and order on the outside, but the pair of orchestral arias at its core provides the inspiration for two of Balanchine's most unique pas de deux.
