Ratmansky's widely acclaimed Concerto DSCH features playful allegro sections and tender moments. Tanner's Sonatas and Interludes is an angular five-part pas de deux. New this season, Soloist Justin Peck's In Creases includes two onstage pianos and a score by Phillip Glass, and serving as a rousing finale is a Balanchine favorite: the all-American Stars and Stripes.

With its thrilling Shostakovich score and dramatic texture, Concerto DSCH excels with classical ingenuity and contemporary stylishness.

Working their way through five piano pieces by John Cage, two dancers unfold through the fluid yet crisp movements of this quirky pas de deux.

Peck’s first work for the Company, to a score by Philip Glass, receives its NYC premiere in Spring 2013, following its world premiere during the Company’s 2012 engagement at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

- Choreography by: George Balanchine

Set to Sousa's buoyant marches and dressed in Karinska's delightful all-American costumes, Stars and Stripes contains as much pure dancing as many full-length classical ballets.
