Opening with Alexei Ratmansky's 2008 hit Concerto DSCH, this program turns to Corps de Ballet Member Justin Peck for his second premiere of the season before George Balanchine's glittering Symphony in C concludes the evening with it's classical virtuosity and sparkling Swarovski tutus.

With its thrilling Shostakovich score and dramatic texture, Concerto DSCH excels with classical ingenuity and contemporary stylishness.
Paz de la Jolla (New Martinu/Peck)
- Music by: Bohuslav Martinu
- Choreography by: Justin Peck
Peck, one of the youngest choreographers commissioned by New York City Ballet, will premiere his third work for the Company during the 2013 winter performances. This new ballet is set to Sinfonietta la Jolla by the prolific 20th-century Czech composer Bohuslav Martinu.
Symphony in C
- Music by: Georges Bizet
- Choreography by: George Balanchine*
Featuring new costumes created in collaboration with Swarovski, this classical masterpiece dazzles audiences with its crystalline luminosity, a cast of over 50 dancers, and a spectacular finale.
