    Following Winter 2014’s Acheron, Scarlett premieres his second work for the Company in just one year.

    NYCB's own Troy Schumacher, whose own BalletCollective was recently deemed a "real discovery" by The New York Times, creates his first work for the Company’s main stage.

  • Varied Trio (in four) (New York Premiere)

    • Choreography by: Jean-Pierre Frohlich

    A collection of short dances for a single couple choreographed by Ballet Master and former Soloist Jean-Pierre Frohlich, Varied Trio makes its New York premiere.

  • This Bitter Earth

    • Music by: Dinah Washington and Max Richter
    • Choreography by: Christopher Wheeldon
    • Principal Casting:
      September 23: Wendy Whelan, Tyler Angle

    Wheeldon’s 2012 pas de deux This Bitter Earth explores Max Richter’s electronic remix of the popular song by the same name.

  • The Goldberg Variations

    • Music by: Johann Sebastian Bach
    • Choreography by: Jerome Robbins

    A testament to Robbins’ unceasing invention, The Goldberg Variations is a choreographic tour de force that pays homage to Bach’s epic score by unifying the traditions of classical and modern movements in one monumental ballet.
