Welcome to the section of the website where the dancers take center stage of a different sort. Beginning in Winter 2006, corps de ballet member Pauline Golbin has been conducting interviews with her onstage colleagues. The personal profiles she has written are only available here and are filled with passion and wonderful personal insights. In these conversations, ballet ceases to be a silent art, for a moment, as the dancers share their thoughts with each other and you, the audience.

In Summer 2006, Kyle Froman joined Pauline Golbin as a contributor to Dancer on Dancer. He, too, is a member of the NYCB corps de ballet. With the help of a camera lens, he shares insights into the backstage world of ballet that are available only to a rare few—those who actually create what we see onstage—dancers, ballet masters, stage hands and musicians.
