EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH
New York City Ballet was established with the belief that ballet should be accessible to the widest possible audience. One of the ways we accomplish this founding principle is by offering robust education and community outreach programs for both children and adults.
Our corporate partners generously support an array of educational programming that provides opportunities for thousands of individuals each year to experience the beauty, meaning and learning capacity of dance. We work in the public school system, integrating dynamic, hands-on programs into the curricula where dance, art, poetry and music are explored in an engaging and interactive way. We also present a rich offering of public programs at the David H. Koch Theater and other locations throughout New York City, including popular family programs and opportunities to meet and hear from our dancers and artistic staff.
