Children's Workshops
Do you enjoy meeting dancers, musicians, and other artists? Do you like finding out what they do?
45-minute pre-performance movement workshops for children ages 4 - 7.
Join the artists of New York City Ballet in an exploration of the music, movement and themes of a ballet featured in the matinee performance. NYCB Teaching Artists guide the children in a ballet warm-up and movement combination, concluding in a lively performance for accompanying family and friends!
Note: Performance tickets must be purchased separately.
Although Children's Workshops are appropriate for children age four and above, it is New York City Ballet's Children's Attendance policy to not admit children under the age of five to repertory performances. This policy does not apply to performances of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker™.
