New York City Ballet is different from many artistic organizations in that it presents two distinct seasons annually at its permanent home at the New York State Theater. Information and ticket sales for each season become available on an individual season basis.
Winter Season details become available in the summer months before the traditional Opening Night Gala Benefit on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Spring Season details typically are announced in early to mid-January for the spring which normally begins at the end of April and runs through the end of June. The 2008 Spring Season will run from April 29 through June 29, 2008. Single Tickets for the 2008 Spring Season and Jerome Robbins Celebration are available for sale online. NEW DETAILS ON HANDICAPPED ACCESS
The north-south drive between 65th St. and 62nd St. has ceased to be available to vehicular trafffic, and consequently, is unavailable for patron drop-offs under the Terrace of the New York State Theater. The best option for patrons requiring the use of wheelchairs or with limited mobility is to be dropped off on W. 62nd St. at the west end of the Theater prior to Damrosch Park. Patrons exiting vehicles at this location should then proceed north (toward Lincoln Center Plaza) along the side of the Theater and turn right at the west end of the Terrace to reach the main Lobby entrance. The traditional Wheelchair Entrance will be accessible one half-hour before the start of performances and can be reached by going west on 62nd St. to just beyond the loading dock of the New York State Theater and taking a right into the first driveway. At the bottom of the incline, and just inside the facility, is a place to stop the car, disembark passengers needing a wheelchair or other walking assistance, who can then be admitted through the Wheelchair Entrance. A red telephone just to the right of the doorway will permit you to gain access to the building. Security guards will assist drivers to make a u-turn out of this area so they may proceed to park in one of the Lincoln Center or other area garages.
ADDITIONAL THEATER ACCESS/PERFORMANCES ONLY
For NYCB patrons holding tickets for individual performances and who may find it preferable to access the Theater from the west (Damrosch Park) side bronze doors during the construction period, New York City Ballet is providing ticket takers and bag checkers at one-half hour before the start of performance so that audience members may enter through this additional entrance and take their seats. Please Note: there will be no access through these doors for members of the general public or anyone wishing to access the Box Office. They are strictly for pre-performance use prior to the start of a New York City Ballet show.
2008-2009 NYCB SEASON DATES
The 2008-2009 New York City Ballet Season will open on November 25, 2008 with the Opening Night Gala. The winter season will continue through March 1, 2009. The 2009 Spring Season will begin on April 29 and run through June 28, 2009.

WiFi HAS ARRIVED
Wireless Internet Access has arrived at Lincoln Center and is available to the thousands of individuals who visit Lincoln Center's 6.3 acres annually. This free wireless internet access at all of the Center's outdoor public spaces is made possible through an agreement with Nokia in cooperation with Nokia Siemens Networks. Now all wireless devices compatible with the 802.11b/g standard including WiFi enabled laptops, cell phones, and PDAs will be welcome. To use Lincoln Center's wireless network, you will need a laptop or handheld device with an 802.11b/g compatible wireless card or built in 802.11b/g wireless capability. To connect to the WiFi network: (1.) Search for available networks. (2.) Select Lincoln Center's wireless network. (3.) Launch your internet browser and you will automatically be connected to Lincoln Center's WiFi portal. NOTE: Lincoln Center understands that each computer and network card operates differently. LINCOLN CENTER DINING EXPERIENCE
New York City Ballet ticket-holders wishing to have a pre-performance dining experience at the Metropolitan Opera's Grand Tier Restaurant or Outdoor Terrace and Revlon Bar may now do so. The Metropolitan Opera is just steps away from the New York State Theater and provides excellent views of Lincoln Center Plaza when it is at its most exciting--bustling with patrons on their way to wonderful performances of every type and variety. The Grand Tier Restaurant features creative contemporary American cuisine. The Outdoor Terrace and Revlon Bar offer sushi, paninis and a full beverage service that is perfect for light, casual dining. It is important to coordinate the curtain time at your NYCB performance with when you you may or may not be able to secure a reservation at these restaurants. For example, the Metropolitan Opera is traditionally closed on Sundays.
LINCOLN CENTER IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION!
In Summer 2006 renovations began on several Lincoln Center constituents that face onto 65th St. & Broadway. This work will proceed for a number of years and impact the pedestrian and vehicular traffic flows into the various theaters. You may wish to check Construction News or the Parking section of the website prior to coming to the Theater for updated details as to changes that may affect access into the parking garage and the New York State Theater. We promise to keep you up to date.
Frequent visitors to Lincoln Center will notice that three of Lincoln Center's favorite "faces" will be missing. This is because the Henry Moore reclining sculpture that has long been situated in the reflecting pool in front of Lincoln Center Theater and the bright orange Alexander Calder sculpture in front of the entrance to the New York Public Library for Performing Arts Research have been moved offsite during the demolition and reconstruction of Lincoln Center's outdoor spaces. They will return in the fall of 2009 when the outdoor renovations are complete. In January 2008, the Revson fountain that has dominated Lincoln Center Plaza for decades was decommissioned. Construction of a new central Plaza fountain is underway as part of the Lincon Center Redevelopment.
