Ratmansky World Premiere

Alexei Ratmansky returns to NYCB this winter with the world premiere of Voices. The ballet is set to Voices and Piano, an experimental score by Austrian composer Peter Ablinger, in which a pianist mimics the vocal modulations of recorded speech from the likes of Nina Simone, filmmaker Forough Farrokhzad, artist Agnes Martin, and others. See the world premiere of Voices on the New Combinations program JAN 30, with ten additional performances through May 2020.
