How many tickets constitute a group?
Group sales are offered for ticket sales of 10 tickets or more for repertory performances and 20 or more ticket for performances of George Balanchine's The Nutcracker®.
Can I purchase group tickets on your website?
No, group tickets must be arranged through the Group Sales office. Interested in requesting a Group Adventure add-on? Fill out the request form and a Group Sales representative will reach out to you directly to arrange your visit.
What discounts are offered for groups?
Groups of 10 or more save up to 30% off on select locations and performances.
Can I arrange group tickets for performances and sections that don’t have a discount?
Yes, groups can always purchase full-price tickets for any the prime seating sections, subject to availability.
Are there any additional fees?
There is a Service Fee of $15 per performance ordered as a group sale and a Facility Fee of $3.50 per ticket on all orders.
When is final payment due?
Full payment is due 60 days prior to your scheduled performance date. If we do not receive payment 60 days prior to your performance, your tickets will be released for public sale. Additional payment options are available for orders placed less than 60 days prior to the desired performance. Please speak with your Group Sales representative for more details.
Do I have to pay for my group in full or can they pay individually?
Group sales payments must be made in full by a single payment method — we do not accept individual payments for group sales.
What forms of payment do you accept?
You may pay for your group order by check, American Express, Master Card, Visa, Discover, or Diners Card. Wire transfers can also be arranged for international orders.
You may make changes to your group order up until the final payment is due, provided you maintain an order size of at least 10 tickets for repertory performances and 20 tickets for George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®.
Can I adjust my reservation order?
Can my group sit together?
We will accommodate your group requests, pending ticket availability of the performance. Large groups may need to be seated in two or more blocks.
When can I place my reservation request?
Group sales orders may be reserved as soon as a performance has been listed on the New York City Ballet’s website calendar.
Will my seats be assigned upon submitting my reservation?
Tentative seating will be assigned when your order is received. You will be invoiced for your full balance and seat locations will be reserved until the final payment due date, at which point seats that have not been paid for will no longer be guaranteed.
How will I receive my tickets?
After full payment has been received, your group tickets can either be mailed directly to you or held at the Box Office for pick up.
Can you accommodate seating for special needs patrons in my group?
New York City Ballet has several options for patrons with special access needs. Please include information in your order request so we can accommodate your needs accordingly.
Where can buses or motor coaches drop-off and pick-up my group?
For groups traveling by bus or motor coach, you can drop off and pick up your party on Columbus Avenue at the front of Lincoln Center. There is parking behind the David H. Koch Theater on West 62nd Street between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues.
What should if I do if my Group tickets are lost?
In the event of lost Group tickets, please contact our Customer Service team at 212-496-0600 Monday to Friday 10am-8pm and Sunday 12-5pm to arrange for replacements (held at Box Office) up until one (1) hour before curtain on the day of the show.
