New York City Ballet’s 2018 Spring Gala will pay homage to Jerome Robbins as part of Robbins 100 — a tribute marking the centennial of NYCB's co-founding choreographer's birth. Following a cocktail reception hosted by Ruinart champagne, the onstage program will showcase three classic Robbins favorites along with two world premieres created in tribute to the iconic choreographer. The first, a medley created by Tony Award®-winning Broadway director and choreographer Warren Carlyle, dedicated to Robbins’ musical theater legacy. The second will be a tribute by NYCB Resident Choreographer Justin Peck set to a score in honor of Leonard Bernstein’s 100th birthday. The evening will conclude with an elegant seated supper ball, where guests will dine and dance late into the night with members of the Company.
