Annual Luncheon

Tuesday, February 11, 2014

The 2014 Annual Luncheon on February 11, Great Partnering: What a Ballerina Wants , was a great success, raising over $515,000 for the Company and the Dancer Wellness Program.

The afternoon began with an exhilarating program which explored the training, intuition, and strength it takes to make a great partner on and off the stage. Through onstage demonstrations and a lively panel discussion moderated by NYCB Board Member Donya Bommer, the program illustrated how students are taught partnering at the School of American Ballet and how Company members master these skills in some of New York City Ballet’s most beloved choreography. After the program, guests enjoyed an elegant seated luncheon on the Promenade of the David H. Koch Theater.

The 2014 Annual Luncheon was generously sponsored by Harry Winston.
