Reporting directly to the Mailroom Supervisor, the Box Office Mailroom Assistant supports the daily operations of the David H. Koch Theater.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process all tickets and related mailings for the David H Koch Theater and all related constituent companies.
  • Ensure accurate data input into the Tessitura system for the Box Office.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patrons via phone regarding website navigation and ticket sales.
  • Resolve customer service issues using appropriate resources
  • Coordinates with Manager, Major Gift & Individual Giving and Portfolio Managers to manage Major
    Gift donor solicitation letter process
  • Maintain all quality standards set forth by the organization.

Minimum Requirements

  • Self-motivated, results oriented, and goal focused
  • Must be highly organized
  • Committed to and enthusiastic about the mission, programs and services of the theatre.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines with limited oversight
  • Persuasive and strategic communicator with demonstrated interpersonal skills and problem-solving
    ability
  • Proficiency with standard business applications, such as MS Office
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the minimum requirements of this position:

  • Position regularly requires sitting and standing for long periods of time.
  • Position occasionally requires lifting/carrying boxes and equipment for donor events.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work


The hours of work are between 10am 6pm weekdays.
