A New York Times Critic's Pick, Symphonie Espagnole —Tiler Peck's largest creation to date marked by her "go big or go home" approach—weaves stylistically distinct groups of dancers through Édouard Lalo's virtuosic violin concerto, balancing Spanish flair and restrained artistry within the ballet's classical structure.
Tiler Peck's Symphonie Espagnole, set to the eponymous score by Édouard Lalo, is the choreographer and NYCB Principal Dancer’s second work for New York City Ballet. With a cast of 40 dancers, the ballet features costumes designed by acclaimed ballet, theater, and opera designer Robert Perdziola and lighting by Tony Award–nominated lighting designer Brandon Stirling Baker.
