 Becket Jones is a member of New York City Ballet’s corps de ballet. She was born in Chicago, Illinois and began her dance training at age 4 at Chicago Ballet Arts. At the age of 10, she began training at Triangle Academy of Dance in Cary, North Carolina under the direction of Margaret Severin-Hansen. Jones participated in the summer program at the School of American Ballet, the official school of NYCB, in 2019, 2020, and 2021, before enrolling full-time at SAB for the 2021 winter term. She became an apprentice with NYCB in August 2024, and joined the corps de ballet in February 2025. As an apprentice with NYCB, she performed in George Balanchine’s Serenade as part of a celebration of SAB’s 100th anniversary, and she originated a corps de ballet role in Alexei Ratmansky’s Paquita.

While a student at SAB, Jones was the recipient of the 2024 Mae L. Wien Award for Outstanding Promise.
