Becket Jones

Becket Jones is a member of New York City Ballet’s corps de ballet. She was born in Chicago, Illinois and began her dance training at age 4 at Chicago Ballet Arts. At the age of 10, she began training at Triangle Academy of Dance in Cary, North Carolina under the direction of Margaret Severin-Hansen. Jones participated in the summer program at the School of American Ballet, the official school of NYCB, in 2019, 2020, and 2021, before enrolling full-time at SAB for the 2021 winter term. She became an apprentice with NYCB in August 2024, and joined the corps de ballet in February 2025.

While a student at SAB, Jones was the recipient of the 2024 Mae L. Wien Award for Outstanding Promise.
