Vanessa Mlyniec

Vanessa Mlyniec is a member of New York City Ballet’s corps de ballet. She was born in Warwick, Rhode Island, and began her ballet training at age 8 at Festival Ballet Providence under Mary Ann Mayer and Vilia Putrius. She continued her training at Eastern Connecticut Ballet in East Lyme, Connecticut, under Gloria Govrin, from 2019 to 2022. Mlyniec first attended the New York Junior Session at the School of American Ballet (SAB), the official school of New York City Ballet, in the summer of 2018. She also attended SAB summer courses in 2019 and 2022, before enrolling as a full-time student at SAB for the 2022 winter term. Mlyniec became an apprentice with NYCB in November 2024 and joined the corps de ballet in October 2025.
