Alessandro Benetello

Alessandro Benetello (Cello) was born in Padova, Italy. He received his Diploma di Magistero from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory and Certificates in Cello and Chamber Music from the Mozarteum International Summer Academy. 

Benetello has received the Premio Rancati from La Fondazione "Arnaldo Rancati" for scholarship at the Conservatorio di Milano. He has performed with the Teatro alla Scala, R.A.I. Orchestra, New York City Opera Orchestra, Radio City Music Hall Orchestra, New York Grand Opera Orchestra, and Brooklyn Philharmonic. 

In September 1977, Benetello joined the New York City Ballet Orchestra.
