Bin Lu
Bin Lu (First Violin) was born in China and received his Bachelor Degree of Highest Distinction from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and an Artist Diploma from Oberlin College & Conservatory.
Lu won the China National Violin Competition. He was a soloist with the China National Symphony Orchestra; concertmaster of the China Youth Symphony Orchestra (1986-7); principal second violin of the Central Philharmonic Society (1990-6); associate concertmaster of the China National Symphony Orchestra (1996-7); and a founding member of the Central Philharmonic Society String Quartet.
In 1998, Lu joined the New York City Ballet Orchestra.
