Emma Meinrenken

Emma Meinrenken (Associate, First Violin) was born in Toronto, Canada. She received her Bachelor of Music from the Curtis Institute of Music and her Master of Music and Master of Musical Arts from the Yale School of Music. She is pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts from the CUNY Graduate Center.

Meinrenken’s awards include the Yale Presser Foundation Award, the Milka Violin Artist Prize, the Prix Ravel at Les Ecoles d'Art Américaines de Fontainebleau, and the Sylva Gelber Foundation Award.

In January 2026, Meinrenken joined the New York City Ballet Orchestra.
