Julia DeRosa

Julia DeRosa (Principal, Oboe) was born in Stamford, Connecticut and trained at The Juilliard School. 

DeRosa has received the Peter Mennin Prize for Outstanding Achievement and Leadership in Music, Benzaquen Career Advancement Grant, and first prize from the National Society of Arts and Letters Woodwind Competition. She has performed with the Santa Fe Opera Orchestra and the American Symphony Orchestra. 

In September 2019, DeRosa joined the New York City Ballet Orchestra.
