Michael Roth

Michael Roth (Associate, First Violin) was born in Scarsdale, New York. He received his Bachelor of Music from Oberlin College & Conservatory and Master of Music from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. 

Roth received the Louis and Annette Kaufman Prize in Violin from Oberlin as well as First Prize from the Ohio String Teachers Association and the Julian Olevsky Memorial Award from UMass Amherst. He has performed with the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra, Vermont Mozart Festival Orchestra, American Composers Orchestra, American Ballet Theatre Orchestra, and American Symphony Orchestra.

In January 2003, Roth joined the New York City Ballet Orchestra.
