Tarun Bellur

Tarun Bellur (Principal, Percussion) was born in Plano, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Music from Northwestern University and Master of Music and a Performance Studies Degree from the Manhattan School of Music. A Percussionist with the Eugene Symphony in Eugene, Oregon from 2023 to 2025, Bellur has also performed with the Kansas City Symphony, The Metropolitan Opera, and the New York Philharmonic.

In May 2025, Bellur joined the New York City Ballet Orchestra.
