Wei Yi Wang

Wei Yi Wang (First Violin) was born in China and trained at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and the Mannes College of Music in New York. 

Wang won first prize in the China National Violin Competition and was a medalist of the 46th Premio Paganini Violin Competition. She was associate concertmaster of Palau de las Arts in Valencia, Spain, and performed with the New York City Opera Orchestra. 

In December 2009, Wang joined the New York City Ballet Orchestra.
