Come along as we explore George Balanchine’s beloved ballet inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In this fun-filled, hour-long program you’ll see excerpts from this enchanting ballet and hear from the artists who perform it.

Your Safety

We are thrilled to welcome visitors back to Family Saturdays at the David H. Koch Theater. New York City Ballet remains deeply committed to the health and safety of our visitors, artists, and staff. In compliance with developing guidelines issued by federal, state, and local governments, the Company has put in place preventative measures to try to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

With safety at the forefront, New York City Ballet will be implementing a mandatory vaccination policy for all visitors and employees 12 years of age and over. Visitors 12 and over must be fully vaccinated and will be required to show in-person proof of vaccination authorized by the FDA or WHO, against COVID-19 upon entering the Theater. All visitors under the age of 12, for whom there is currently no available vaccination, will be permitted to attend Family Saturdays with proof of a negative PCR test, performed by a medical provider, taken no more than 72 hours before the program.

As a further tool to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, NYCB will require proper mask usage for all patrons, regardless of age or vaccination status, at all Family Saturdays presentations. Based on CDC and New York State guidelines at the time of your visit, additional entry requirements may include a contact tracing survey, limitations on belongings in the Theater, assigned entry times, contactless temperature check, social distancing, and more. Please check back here for updates on our complete and most up-to-date protocol, which is subject to change.
