Join us for these exciting one-hour interactive presentations featuring excerpts from New York City Ballet's diverse repertory performed by Company dancers and members of the NYCB Orchestra.
Appropriate for families with children ages 5 and older. Children under the age of 5 may find this program difficult to follow.
Megan Fairchild, Principal Dancer and Family Saturdays Creative Director, hosts the programs, offering insight on choreography, music, and dancers. Family Saturdays are the perfect introduction to NYCB and the world of classical dance!

Saturday, February 19, 2022: SWAN LAKE
The wicked sorcerer von Rothbart has transformed Odette and her friends into swans; only at night can they return to their human form. Will Prince Siegfried be able to save Odette or will she be doomed to remain a swan forever? Join us as we journey to the enchanted lakeside where Prince Siegfried and Odette’s heartbreaking love story unfolds. Host Megan Fairchild and the artists of NYCB will provide a unique look at Swan Lake, one of the most famous ballets of all time, in this presentation perfectly suited for families.
Saturday, May 28, 2022: A MAGICAL MIDSUMMER
Feuding fairy kingdoms, quarreling couples, and a troupe of bumbling actors become entangled in a magical forest and at the center of it all: a mischievous elf named Puck. Come along as we explore George Balanchine’s beloved ballet inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In this fun-filled, hour-long program you’ll see excerpts from this enchanting ballet and hear from the artists who perform it.

Second through Fourth Ring / $22 per person
Free for NYCB Members at the Fellow level and above (4 tickets)
