Family Saturdays
As New York City Ballet continues to prioritize the health and well-being of our patrons, artists, staff, and the community at large, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020-21 Season and annual performances of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®.
Education programs held during this time are either postponed or offered remotely.
Join us for these exciting one-hour interactive presentations featuring excerpts from New York City Ballet's diverse repertory performed by Company dancers and members of the NYCB Orchestra.
Appropriate for families with children ages 5 and older.
Megan Fairchild, Principal Dancer and Family Saturdays Creative Director, hosts the programs, offering insight on choreography, music, and dancers. Family Saturdays are the perfect introduction to NYCB and the world of classical dance!
