Working Day Tours
Working Day Tours offer arts-interested groups of students ages 12 and older the opportunity to visit New York City Ballet (NYCB) during a regular working day. These tours are designed for students who have a specific interest in performing arts. Students observe and explore behind-the-scenes operations at the David H. Koch Theater.
All tours are led by NYCB Teaching Artists and are 90 minutes long. Experiences on the tour include a discussion of NYCB and its history, a 30-minute observation of an onstage rehearsal, and an up-close look at costumes from some of the company’s most beloved ballets. Other topics discussed on the tour are based on the age and interests of individual groups.
Cost
$150 fee per tour slot.
