CELEBRATING PRINCIPAL DANCER ADRIAN DANCHIG-WARING
A company member since 2003, Adrian Danchig-Waring quickly endeared himself to NYCB audiences with an uncanny ability to inscribe space with his expansive performances, earning his promotion to principal dancer in 2013. Known for his deft versatility, Adrian’s broad repertory encompasses both core Balanchine and Robbins ballets and an impressive array of commissioned choreography, ranging from Eliot Feld to Angelin Preljocaj. While bidding farewell to the NYCB stage at this one-time-only event, Adrian’s commitment to developing the dancemakers of tomorrow will continue in his work as artistic director of the New York Choreographic Institute.
