Spring 2026
APr 21 - May 31
Spring 2026 showcases a breathtaking swathe of repertory, contrasting classical brilliance with contemporary style. The glittering favorite Divertimento No. 15, one of a select few Mozart-scored Balanchine works, spotlights his talent for visualizing music, with additional founding choreographer highlights including Balanchine’s refined Concerto Barocco and Jerome Robbins’ contemplative In Memory of…. Edwaard Liang’s undulating Distant Cries returns to the NYCB stage after more than two decades, and new works include the world premiere of Principal Dancer Tiler Peck’s second creation for the company and the NYCB premiere of Christopher Wheeldon’s evocatively sparse Continuum. Two beloved story ballets round out performances: the bewitching fairy tale Firebird and the beloved full-length comedy Coppélia, in which Principal Dancer Megan Fairchild will deliver her farewell performance.
