Ash

With an accelerated tempo, Ash launches a non-stop cast of ten into stylish solos, pas de deux, and group movements.

Ash is the fourth ballet created by Peter Martins to a score by Michael Torke. The commissioned score, which emphasizes brisk counterpoint, is employed in a series of solo and ensemble variations for a lead couple and four pairs of demi-soloists. The ballet features costumes by Steven Rubin and lighting by Mark Stanley.
