Your Safety

We are thrilled to welcome visitors back to NYCB’s Rehearsal Studios in the Samuel B. & David Rose Building (the “Studios”) for in-person events. New York City Ballet remains deeply committed to the health and safety of our visitors, artists, and staff. In compliance with developing guidelines issued by federal, state, and local governments, we have put in place preventative measures to try to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Visitors 5 years of age or older attending Children's Workshops must be fully vaccinated and will be required to present proof of vaccination, authorized by the FDA or WHO, against COVID-19 to be admitted to the Studios. Children under the age of 5 who are not able to be vaccinated will be permitted to attend Children's Workshops with proof of a negative PCR test, performed by a medical provider, taken no more than 72 hours before the event. If a potential visitor remains unvaccinated because of a disability or sincerely held religious belief, that person may contact the New York City Ballet in writing for assistance or to request a reasonable accommodation by sending an email to customercare@nycballet.com.

As a further tool to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, NYCB will require proper mask usage for all patrons, regardless of age or vaccination status, at all Public Programs. Based on CDC and New York State guidelines at the time of your visit, additional entry requirements may include a contact tracing survey, limitations on belongings in the Studios, assigned entry times, contactless temperature check, social distancing, and more. Please check back here for updates on our complete and most up-to-date protocol, which is subject to change.

NYCB's Public Programs are generously sponsored by The Travelers Companies, Inc.
