Join us for these exciting one-hour interactive presentations featuring excerpts from New York City Ballet's diverse repertory performed by Company dancers and members of the NYCB Orchestra.
Appropriate for families with children ages 5 and older.
Megan Fairchild, Principal Dancer and Family Saturdays Creative Director, hosts the programs, offering insight on choreography, music, and dancers. Family Saturdays are the perfect introduction to NYCB and the world of classical dance!

A TIMELESS TALE
Based on the classic fairy tale, The Sleeping Beauty is a beloved ballet that has cast its spell over audiences past and present. Discover how New York City Ballet artists tell a story through dance as we journey to the enchanted kingdom where Princess Aurora’s story unfolds. In this fun-filled, hour-long program, you’ll see excerpts from this cherished ballet and hear from the artists who perform it.

A DANCER’S LIFE
Join us as we make our way through the Company ranks, showing you the path from young student to professional dancer. Find out about dancers’ training, daily preparation, and what it is like to perform onstage at Lincoln Center in this interactive presentation designed especially for family audiences. This program will give you an exclusive sneak peek behind the curtain at the look of a dancer’s life.
