Cost
$450 per class
The Nutcracker Project is designed to promote individual and group artistic expression inspired by themes, choreography, and music from George Balanchine's The Nutcracker®. NYCB Teaching Artists and classroom teachers engage with students in interdisciplinary workshops and lessons.
Each class will attend a live NYCB performance of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® at Lincoln Center. The curriculum focuses on active art-making, collaboration, and critical reflection through poetry and creative movement.

*Student Matinee Performances and in-school instruction will be offered in accordance with city and NYCB employee health guidelines. In the event that a live performance or onsite instruction is not feasible, a virtual alternative will be provided. This may vary for fall and winter sessions.
