Your Safety

We are thrilled to welcome visitors back to NYCB’s Rehearsal Studios in the Samuel B. & David Rose Building (the “Studios”) for in-person events. New York City Ballet remains deeply committed to the health and safety of our visitors, artists, and staff. In compliance with developing guidelines issued by federal, state, and local governments, the Company has put in place preventative measures to try to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

With safety at the forefront, New York City Ballet will be implementing a mandatory vaccination policy for all visitors and employees 12 years of age and over. All visitors 12 and over must be fully vaccinated and will be required to show in-person proof of vaccination authorized by the FDA or WHO, against COVID-19 upon entering the Studios. All participating children, regardless of vaccination status, must provide proof of a negative PCR test, performed by a medical provider, taken no more than 72 hours before your visit. The test results must clearly show the date and time of the test. As a further tool to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, NYCB will require proper mask usage for all patrons, regardless of age or vaccination status, at all Education events in the Studios.

Based on CDC and New York State guidelines at the time of your visit, additional safety protocols may include: a contact tracing survey, limitations on belongings in the Studios, assigned entry times, contactless temperature check, social distancing, and more. Please check back here for updates on our complete and most up-to-date protocol, which is subject to change.

NYCB's Public Programs are generously sponsored by The Travelers Companies, Inc.
