2023 Fall Fashion Gala
October 7, 2023
The 2023 Fall Gala marked the Company’s diamond anniversary with a program honoring our founding choreographers, fashion, and New York City.
Excerpts from George Balanchine’s Who Cares? presented romantic duets with new costume designs by Wes Gordon for Carolina Herrera, and for this one-time-only gala evening, special guest vocalists Joshua Henry, Patti LuPone, and Vanessa Williams shared the stage with NYCB dancers performing iconic standards from the American Songbook.
Expansive in scope and streamlined in style, Jerome Robbins’ Glass Pieces served as the thrilling finale for the evening’s onstage performance, reflecting the energy and vitality of the city we call home.
