Incorporating nuanced abstraction and choreographic precision, The Dreamers explores interconnectivity and hope in a reflective pas de deux.

Justin Peck’s The Dreamers premiered at NYCB’s Fall 2016 Gala; the costumes were created by Belgian designer Dries Van Noten and the ballet also features lighting by Mark Stanley. The pas de deux is the NYCB Resident Choreographer and Artistic Advisor’s second work for NYCB to the music of Bohuslav Martinů, following Paz de la Jolla (2013), the making of which was the subject of the documentary film Ballet 422.
