Shane Williams

Shane Williams is a member of New York City Ballet’s corps de ballet. Williams was born in Cleveland, Ohio and began his training at the age of 11 at Cleveland City Dance under Courtney J. Laves-Mearini, Heather Young, Alison Dubsky, and Michael Keating, and was a member of its pre-professional company City Ballet of Cleveland. He attended summer courses at the School of American Ballet, NYCB’s official school, in 2021 and 2022, before entering SAB full-time for the 2022 winter term. He also received additional training at the Pacific Northwest Ballet summer program.

In August 2023, Williams was named an apprentice with NYCB and in March 2024, he joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet.
