Shelby Mann is a member of New York City Ballet’s corps de ballet. She was born in New York City, where she began studying ballet at the age of 6 at the School of American Ballet, the official school of New York City Ballet. As an SAB student, she performed in George Balanchine’s Coppélia, Harlequinade, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Mozartiana, and George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, and Peter Martins’ The Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake. Mann became an apprentice with NYCB in January 2022, and joined the corps de ballet in November 2022.
